Upwood School PTA

Every parent and teacher is automatically a member of the PTA. We are extremely fortunate at Upwood School to have a high degree of involvement and commitment from our parents. The PTA is actively involved in a full programme of educational, social and fund raising activities, from which the school benefit greatly.

Our current Chair is Maria Crawford - contact her through the school office any time.

The PTA raises funds for the school, to provide vital extra resources for the children. Your help at any of the events would be greatly appreciated. Last year we managed to raise sufficent funding to purchase swimming pool equipment, and cover the costs of the African Drummers and the Year 2 Recycling Bus sessions. This year we need to provide a cover for the pool, and numerous other items requested by the staff and school council.

We also run a weather lottery - please ask for details.

Meetings are held in the staff room at school - please ask in the office for the next date.

YOUR SUPPORT IS VITAL - BOTH HELPING TO ORGANISE AND ATTENDING THE EVENTS.
